Services
A small tenant cabin dating early 1900s has been renovated for your comfort and enjoyment. The front bedroom, the "Rose Room" has a queen bed. The "Little Blue Room" has two twin beds. The sitting room is sunny with reading materials. There is wireless connection for your computer. There is one bathroom. The cabin will only be used by the party who has rented it.
Breakfast is continental plus, with free choices of fresh fruits, pastries, cereals, juices, coffee and tea. Breakfast is also a self-serve. Coffee is set on a timer and you are free to eat at will. Microwave and small refridgerator are on site and the dishes and coffee cups cleaned up every morning after your finished.
Every day while you relax and enjoy the quietude of the farm, exercise, train or take a long, leisurely trail ride, I will be making your beds, cleaning the bathroom and the common areas.
I provide a stall for each horse with fluffy shavings and ask the owner to provide feed, hay, buckets and self-care. Turn-out is available depending on pasture space. Should you want stalls cleaned there is a service charge.
Grounds and facilities
There are 40 acres of pasture, board fencing and a riding arena. The barn has 7 stalls and wash stall. There are two 2-stall mini barns in the pastures which could be run-in shed or provide complete shelter for storms or stabling overnight. In opposite directions are miles of trails that could take you hours and hours to cover. Within ten minutes, you could be at a hunt meet. Aiken, is a twenty minute drive and most eventing barns are just fifteen minutes away.
Pricing
This is a hard one. Basic pricing starts at $55 , for "The Little Blue Room" and $75 double occupancy. "The Rose Room", starts at $65 and $85.00 for double occupancy. However, arrangements can be made and discounts offered for short-term, weekly, seasonal rentals or for the entire cabin.
Stabling is $20 per a stall. Call ahead, for each situation is different and I am willing to work with you.

DOGS and CATS
I have Moseley, who will greet you with open arms. I prefer that all dogs are kept at home. I keep my dog in whenever people are here working their horses. I love animals, but, the safest place is for the dogs is to remain at home. PEOPLE TRAVELING WITH SMALL PETS ARE WELCOMED TO BRING THEM ...LET US KNOW ... HAVE A KENNEL OR CARRIER FOR THEM PLEASE .. a small fee does apply. (A kennel and a run are in future plans !).
CATS RULE AND WE HAVE FOUR OF THEM ... TWO YOUNG ONES THAT HUNT, TWO THAT STAY INSIDE ....THERE IS AN 8o'clock FOX.
Guided Trail Rides
There is The Hitchcock Woods in Aiken that can be confusing your first time. This trail ride can last 2-3 hours. It takes 35 minutes to get there. The Gopher Tortise Preserve is just down the rode about a 15 minute trailer ride and then there are two ways to go off our property for about 3 hours each way.

Ring Rental
Private lesson with your trainer: $10/hour. Horse Show - $5.00 per horse ground fee plus flat rate of $50.00.
